True Religion x NYC

This Fashion Week, True Religion took over New York City—making noise from borough to borough. If you weren’t keeping up on our socials, here’s the gist: we spent a weekend turning sidewalks into runways and showing the city what it means to Own Your True.

From campuses to nightclubs, we teamed up with some of the biggest names in reality TV, sports, and fashion—hey, Chelley and OBJ. Let’s break it down.

First stop: St. John’s University

We kicked things off at Chelley’s alma mater, bringing True style straight to campus. Students got the full experience—live styling tips from our team, giveaways, and an exclusive first look at our new fall drops. Chelley’s old squad, the LIVE Dance Crew, suited up in our latest active sets to show that when you move with True style and self-expression, you got confidence is in the bag.

Next stop: Queens Store Opening

We kept this momentum going with the grand opening of our new Queens store, located just down the road from SJU’s campus at Queens Center Mall. Fans and shoppers alike got to meet the star of the store, Chelley, while also copping her top picks from our ICON Collection. Between the selfie snapping and shopping, our NYC fam showed up with that True energy, big time.

Next stop: Fashion Week Pop-Up

When we say you couldn’t miss us pulling up to fashion week, we mean it. Our True’d-out truck was driving all around downtown, making a final pit stop in the LES. On the outside, passersby got a view of GloRilla and Duke Dennis repping our ICONs Collection, while inside, you got to shop it. We had everything from our new rope stitch denim and graphic tees to varsity jackets and more.

Because we only know how to be extra, once you made your purchase, we had a patch station so you could add even more iconic details to your fits. In true fashion week fashion, there was no shortage of photo ops—between a custom photobooth and step-and-repeat, everyone had a chance to capture their bold, personalized looks.

Final Stop: True Religion x FRI&NDS

To close out the fashion week festivities, we pulled up to the club with Odell Beckham Junior’s FRI&NDS—and real-life friends—to throw the weekend's most epic party at The Highlight Room in the LES.
